I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Sylhet Hotel and Resort, and I want to give a special shoutout to Akbar, the receptionist. Akbar's friendliness and helpfulness made my experience truly exceptional. He went above and beyond to assist me during my stay, and his warm and welcoming demeanor left a lasting impression. I highly appreciate his outstanding service and would recommend this hotel, thanks to Akbar's exceptional hospitality.

Excellent facilities - very clean, comfortable and well proportioned rooms. Great buffet breakfast with variety. Very attentive staff making every effort to accommodate needs. Good spa. Pool was clean and warm. Very close to airport with free shuttle. 15 minute drive into Sylhet Town but not necessarily a negative as away from the traffic and chaos. Would definitely recommend and a cut above rest of hotels in Sylhet.

Like any other 5* hotel around the world everything you would expect and need, really doing Bangladesh proud. Rooms all clean and spotless, super comfortable beds, service is on point, everything from house cleaning to check in was excellent so was the breakfast a decent range on offer. I forgot the names of individuals to name but thank you to you all!

We loved the interior of the room. Bed was comfy. Lots of amenities. Excellent location. Very friendly staff (always smiling). Food was alright, no complaints. Thank you for providing free shuttle service to the airport.

The best hotel and resort in Sylhet, highly recommend! Cleanliness was amazing. The food was good, room service for food is reasonably priced, however, buffet was overpriced I think. Swimming pool was decent could be cleaner but not their fault as it was a rooftop pool so bugs entering was inevitable. Nice gift shops on the ground floor, had an aracade and shisha lounge and movie theatre, quite unique for a hotel especially in Bangladesh.

Was very new and clean. Felt like I was in Thailand or Malaysia which was great. Also had the only shisha lounge in all of syhlet and few touristy shops. Really enjoyed my stay and will be staying again even though I have my own block of flats 10 minutes down the road. I loved the location even though it was far from the center. It was really quiet and you couldn’t hear car horns every 2 seconds.

The breakfast was very good. Ordered hot cooked omelette andi had it with paratha,veg, and dhall. The tea served to the table from my request.There was fresh fruits and many other choices. I would recommend the breakfast to others us there was so much choices from English to Asian. I did also have dinner in the Hotels signature restaurant with my family in the evening.we decided to have the buffet.I would say some of the dishes was warm and could be hotter and better in taste specially the International dishes and Bangladeshie and Asian dishes was very good.

It didn't help that the weather was so wet. Honestly this didn't match the peninsula in chattagang. Living on past glories perhaps and the management hadn't kept their eye on the ball lately. But delivered a nice cafe choice and food was as expected.

Lovely service. Lots of spa sessions available. Has a few shops. Staff are very helpful. Good buffet breakfast. They have sauna that is paid for and free gym. You can go as day guest. Buffet only on Friday and Saturday and only when they have enough guests, otherwise you just order from menu. Great place to stop off when coming into Sylhet or leaving from airport.
